Registered Nurse (Emergency Department)

About the Opportunity

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is partnering with a well-established private hospital in Brisbane to recruit Registered Nurses into their Emergency Department on a permanent full-time and part-time basis.

This is a busy, 24-hour Emergency Department providing comprehensive care to adult patients across a broad range of presentations including medical, surgical, orthopaedic, oncology and gynaecological emergencies. You will be joining a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of emergency physicians, nurses and support staff who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

This role will suit nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident in managing acute and undifferentiated presentations, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and teamwork.

Skills and Experience

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2+ years postgraduate experience in an Emergency Department
• Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of acute presentations
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritisation and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
